Israeli forces raid homes, vandalize property during military raids into Tulkarm-area towns

TULKARM, January 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed at dawn on Thursday the towns of Attil and Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm, deploying several military vehicles and foot patrols, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli forces deployed across the main streets and residential neighborhoods of both towns, raided dozens of homes, conducted extensive searches, vandalized property, and detained several young men for field interrogation.

The sources confirmed that several young men from Attil were detained, including a youth who was injured last month by Israeli forces’ gunfire near Tulkarm refugee camp.

This raid is part of the ongoing campaign by Israeli occupation forces in Tulkarm governorate, now entering its 368th day, involving daily military operations in the city, its two refugee camps—Tulkarm and Nur Shams—as well as nearby towns and villages, marked by detentions and widespread house incursions.
