HEBRON, January 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Wednesday detained three Palestinians and seized heavy equipment used in a water network rehabilitation project in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Activist Muhammad Awad told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the Thaghret al-Shabak area north of Beit Ummar, halting work on the project, which is being carried out by the Palestinian Water Authority.
The soldiers detained three workers from the technical team of the implementing company and confiscated several pieces of heavy equipment used in the project, transferring them to the Etzion military base.
