BETHLEHEM, January 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces began on Wednesday demolishing two Palestinian homes in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
The deputy mayor of al-Khader, Husni Issa, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli soldiers began demolishing two homes belonging to brothers Osama and Raed Muhammad Hassan Salah. Each home was 200 square meters and located in the Ard al-Deir area, west of Bethlehem, under the pretext that it was built without a permit.
Issa added that Israeli forces completely closed off the area and prevented residents from approaching the demolition site.
