HEBRON, January 27, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian citizen was critically injured by Israeli forces’ live gunfire on Tuesday evening during a military raid on the town of Ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews dealt with a live-bullet injury to the abdomen in Ad-Dhahiriya, describing the injury as serious.
Local sources said that Israeli forces also raided the town of Ash Shuyukh and the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, where they fired tear gas canisters, causing several Palestinian citizens to suffocate.
Confrontations also erupted following an Israeli military raid on the town of Sa‘ir, north of Hebron, during which tear gas canisters and live ammunition were fired, leading to several suffocation cases among citizens.
