SALFIT, January 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Tuesday evening assaulted a Palestinian farmer in the town of Deir Istiya north of Salfit city, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that Salah Youssef Mansour was attacked while he was selling his agricultural produce at the entrance to the Wadi Qana area, northwest of Salfit, where colonists sprayed him with pepper spray. He was treated at the scene.

Mansour, a farmer from Wadi Qana, is repeatedly subjected to attacks by colonists while at work and while present along the road leading to Wadi Qana. He was previously targeted in an attempted run-over, during which his horse, used to pull the cart he relies on to travel from Deir Istiya to Wadi Qana, was also run over.
