NABLUS, January 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists opened fire on the homes of local Palestinian citizens in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, on Tuesday, according to local sources.
The sources told WAFA that colonists from a newly established colonial outpost built on stolen Palestinian land in the Ras Al-Ein area south of Qusra fired live ammunition at homes in the town. No injuries were reported.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces intervened later, sparking confrontations in the area.
Violence by Israeli colonists has escalated in recent years, with frequent attacks targeting Palestinian homes, farms, and shepherds across the West Bank.
These assaults often include shooting, stone-throwing, burning property, and physical assaults, and are frequently carried out under the protection or presence of Israeli forces.
