JERUSALEM, January 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the al-Ma’dhoun neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem on Tuesday morning and closed Airport Road.
The Jerusalem Governorate told WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles blocked Airport Road, obstructing the movement of residents, students, and teachers, while Israeli forces raided the al-Ma’dhoun neighborhood.
The Governorate added that a tense atmosphere prevailed in the area as a result of the raid and closure, amid ongoing Israeli restrictions on Palestinian residents.
