NABLUS, 26 January 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of incursions into several towns in the occupied Palestinian Territory on Monday, triggering confrontations and conducting house searches.
In Nablus governorate, confrontations erupted between Palestinian citizens and Israeli forces in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Local and security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town, firing sound bombs and tear gas canisters, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, with no injuries reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also stormed the town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilia. Local sources said the forces raided the western neighborhood of the town, without any detentions being reported.
In the southern West Bank, occupation forces searched homes in the town of As-Samu’, south of Hebron. Local and security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town and searched several houses.
