BETHLEHEM, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a shepherd from the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, on Sunday while he was grazing his sheep.
A local source told WAFA that Naji Mahmoud Ubayyat was detained by the occupation forces while grazing his sheep on the outskirts of the village, an area which the army claims is a closed military zone.
Israeli colonists frequently graze their sheep on the lands of the village and near Palestinian homes across the occupied West Bank under the protection of Israeli forces.
