GAZA, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,657, with 171,399 people injured since the aggression began in October 2023.
Medical sources said on Sunday that during the past 48 hours, three citizens were killed and eight others injured as a result of Israeli fire and shelling. A number of victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them.
The same sources added that the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11 last year has reached 484, with 1,321 injuries recorded, while 713 bodies have been recovered.
