Colonists attack shepherds near Khan Al-Ahmar, east of Jerusalem, and block grazing

JERUSALEM, January 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked sheep shepherds on Sunday morning in the Bedouin community of Al-Hathroura near Khan Al-Ahmar, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, and prevented them from grazing their livestock.

The Jerusalem Governorate said a group of colonists chased the shepherds and forced them to leave their land.

The Al-Hathroura Bedouin community has been subjected to repeated attacks as part of a broader policy pursued by the Israeli occupation against Bedouin communities in the areas located east of occupied Jerusalem.

In these areas, colonists have established around 23 outposts that are used as gathering points for launching daily attacks against Bedouins, with the aim of forcibly displacing them from their lands.
