RAMALLAH, January 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinian young men on Saturday evening from the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, after they confronted an attack carried out by Israeli colonists on a home in the town.

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that colonists attacked a house in Birzeit, prompting residents to intervene and defend the property. Israeli forces then stormed the town, fired tear gas canisters, and detained three youths.
