BRUSSELS, January 24, 2026 (WAFA) – The Belgian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday that a royal decree has been issued banning the stopover and transit of aircraft carrying military equipment to Israel, in compliance with international law.
In a press statement, the ministry’s spokesperson said Belgium has also banned the export and transfer of weapons to Israel, which are used in Palestine.
“We are doing everything we can to avoid contributing to the worsening situation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip,” the spokesperson said.
