NABLUS, January 23, 2026 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was seriously injured after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him near the town of Madama, south of Nablus.

Following the shooting, the forces prevented medical teams from reaching the injured man and took him to an unknown location, according to the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, Amid Ahmed.

Ahmed said that coordination is underway with the Red Cross to try to transfer the young man for medical treatment.
