NABLUS, January 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked local Palestinian residents in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, on Friday, according to local sources.
The sources said the colonists assaulted residents in the southwest area of the town under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, leading to confrontations that included the use of heavy gunfire by the Israeli forces. No injuries were reported.
Colonist violence has become a recurring threat in the occupied West Bank, where armed groups often carry out attacks on Palestinian homes, farmland, and vehicles, often under Israeli military protection.
These assaults frequently involve the use of live ammunition, firebombs, and the deliberate destruction of property, including olive trees and agricultural lands.
