NABLUS, January 23, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained four Palestinian citizens during dawn raids on Friday in the towns of Talfit and Beita, south of Nablus, and carried out incursions into several neighborhoods of Nablus city.
Palestinian security and local sources said Israeli forces stormed Beita and detained Abdullah Nedal Salameh after raiding his home in the Bir Quza area, searching the property and vandalizing its contents.
The sources added that Israeli forces also raided Talfit, south of Nablus, and detained three citizens: Naeem Musallam and brothers Nael and Mahmoud Musallam after searching their homes.
Israeli forces also stormed Nablus city from multiple directions, raiding homes in the Askar Al-Qadeem refugee camp, the Old City, and surrounding areas. They searched the properties, vandalized their contents, and forcibly removed the doors of several commercial shops inside the Old City.
