BEIRUT, January 21, 2026 (WAFA) — A Lebanese citizen was killed on Wednesday as a result of airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on several towns in southern Lebanon.
WAFA correspondent said Israeli forces launched heavy airstrikes targeting the towns of Al-Kfour, Qanarit, Jarjoua, Al-Kharayeb, and Ansar, causing the destruction of dozens of residential homes and the displacement of dozens of families from the affected areas.
Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes carried out two additional airstrikes on the towns of Al-Zahrani and Al-Bazourieh, which also resulted in the killing of a Lebanese citizen.
