HEBRON, January 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian residents sustained injuries this evening after being assaulted by Israeli occupation forces amid the ongoing siege of southern Hebron.
The occupation forces prevented residents' movement in the southern areas and sealed off the area, isolating its neighborhoods and streets.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that Israeli forces beat citizens in Jabal Johar amid a wide-scale campaign of raids and searches in the southern area, assaults on families, vandalism of their property, and field investigations being conducted with residents.
Security sources said that Israeli forces tightened their military measures in the Old City and the southern area, detained citizens, and prevented their passage throughout the streets, claiming the area is a military zone.
