Two siblings banned by Israeli authorities from entering Jerusalem's Aqsa mosque

JERUSALEM, January 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today handed thw two siblings Adam and Amir al-Rashq orders banning them from Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that Israeli intelligence delivered the orders to the brothers without providing any clear reasons, a move the family considered arbitrary and a direct attack on the Palestinian presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The al-Rashq family stated that the decision is part of the ongoing policy of restricting Jerusalemites and barring them from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

They emphasized that these measures aim to empty Al-Aqsa of its worshippers and guards and impose a new reality by force.
