RAMALLAH, January 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tightened the military measures north of Ramallah on Tuesday morning.
Local sources said that the occupation forces erected a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ein Sinya, north of Ramallah, obstructing entry and exit, particularly for those leaving the city. Meanwhile, the Atara checkpoint remains closed almost daily until 9:00 AM, forcing thousands of Palestinians, especially those from western Ramallah, to take long detours to reach the city.
