RAMALLAH, 19 January 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple raids across the occupied West Bank on Monday evening, conducting military operations in several towns and neighborhoods, deploying troops, and firing tear gas and sound bombs.
In Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, an Israeli foot patrol stormed the town, patrolled its streets and seized keys to several vehicles, with no detentions reported.
In Bir Nabala, northwest of Jerusalem, Israeli forces raided the town and spread across its streets, amid the heavy firing of tear gas canisters around the bridge area; however, no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces also raided an area in Jenin city, fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters, and deployed soldiers throughout its streets, with no detentions reported.
Earlier today, Israeli forces raided the town of Ya’bad, south of Jenin, and drove their military vehicles through its neighborhoods and streets, without any reported confrontations.
Israeli occupation forces storm cities, towns, villages, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank almost on a daily basis, conducting intensive military operations that include house searches, roadblocks, and widespread troop deployment. These raids disrupt daily life, restrict movement, and often spark confrontations, resulting in injuries, property damage, and, in some cases, the killing of residents.
