GAZA, January 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were injured Monday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on them in Habboub Street in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, a young Palestinian was killed by Israeli forces' gunfire in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of Khan Yunis city.
According to medical sources, 71,550 Palestinians have been killed, and 171,365 others have been injured in Gaza since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed and injured has risen to 465 and 1,287, respectively, while 713 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
