GAZA, January 18, 2026 (WAFA) — Several Palestinians were injured on Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Gaza City and Khan Younis, marking the latest breach of the ceasefire agreement.
WAFA correspondents, citing medical sources, reported that a number of civilians were wounded by fire from an Israeli drone in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The same sources added that two people, including a young girl, were injured by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
The incidents come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 11, 2023. Since then, at least 463 Palestinins have been killed by continued Israeli attacks, while the number of injuries has exceeded 1,269.
