BETHLEHEM, January 18, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians on Sunday from Khalayel al-Louz area and the village of Artas in the Bethlehem governorate, south of the West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
The sources told WAFA correspondent that the forces detained Walid Abu Kamel, 55; Abd Abu Kamel, 50; Ahmad Harbi Abu Kamel, 18; Qusay Abu Kamel, 20; brothers Anan Abu Kamel, 35, and Aws Ahmad Abu Kamel, 22; and Ziad Salahat, 33, from the Khalayel al-Louz area southeast of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching their homes.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also detained Mohammed Abdullah Abu Kasser after raiding and searching his home in the village of Al-Rashayda, east of Bethlehem, the sources added.
