RAMALLAH, January 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained a Palestinian woman and a foreign solidarity activist on Saturday in the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.
Local sources said that Israeli troops detained Huda Rizq from her father’s community, Abu Hammam hamlet, in the “al-Khalayel” area south of the village, along with a foreign activist, while forcing others to leave the area.
Israeli forces declared Al-Khala'il a closed military zone and prevented residents from approaching the area.
Earlier today, an Israeli colonist shut down an agricultural road leading to Abu Hamam's farm, preventing residents from accessing their lands and homes.
On Friday, Israeli army detained four international solidarity activists from the same hamlet, while they were attempting to document colonist attacks and provide support to local residents.
Furthermore, 14-year-old Muhammad Saad Na'san was killed on Friday after being shot in the back and chest by Israeli forces during confrontations that erupted in the Al-Khala'il area of the village.
