Israeli forces storm towns in Hebron governorate, injure citizen with live bullet shrapnel

HEBRON, January 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed on Friday night the towns of Idhna, Beit Ummar, ad-Dhahiriya, and al-Arroub refugee camp in the Hebron governorate, injuring a Palestinian citizen with live bullet shrapnel, according to local sources.

Sources said that Israeli forces stormed the center of Idhna town, west of Hebron, and carried out patrols through its neighborhoods.

The forces also stormed the al-Tariqa area in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and injured a citizen with live bullet shrapnel during their incursion into al-Arroub refugee camp.

Israeli forces further stormed the town of ad-Dhahiriya, firing sound bombs and tear tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes in the town center.
