GAZA, January 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A sixteen-year-old minor was killed on Friday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces opened fire at the minor, who was identified as Mohammad Raed al-Barawi, shooting him in the head and killing him on the spot.

According to medical sources, the toll of those killed and injured in the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,455 and 171,347, respectively, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
