NABLUS, January 16, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces shot a Palestinian citizen and detained another last night near the entrance to the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
The director of the Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmad, said Israeli forces wounded a young man with live fire to the foot and hand after opening fire near the town’s entrance.
Local sources added that Israeli forces detained another Palestinian youth from the same location.
