BETHLEHEM, January 15, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists installed mobile homes, or caravans, on Thursday in the Ish Ghrab area east of the town of Beit Sahour in the southern West Bank province of Bethlehem, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that the colonists placed five mobile homes in Ish Ghrab, expanding the settlement outpost they had previously established on Palestinian-owned land in the area.

Colonial Israeli settlements are in violation of international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, which considers the transfer of an occupying power’s civilian population into occupied territory illegal.
