GAZA, January 15, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,441, while 171,329 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
Medical sources reported today, Thursday, that two people were killed and five others were wounded and taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.
A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
The sources indicated that the total number of slain Palestinians since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 451, and the total number of injuries to 1,251, while 710 bodies have been recovered.
