TUBAS, January 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by heavy bulldozers, stormed the Atouf area east of Tammoun town, south of Tubas, on Thursday.
The head of the Atouf village council, Abdullah Bisharat, said that the occupation forces stormed the Bir al-Ma’yar area with heavy bulldozers and surveying crews, in the area where the occupation announced its intention to construct a colonial road.
At the end of last year, the occupation issued a decision to seize hundreds of dunams of Palestinian land to construct a 22-kilometer colonial road from Ein Shibli towards the Tayasir checkpoint, passing through the Bir al-Ma’yar area.
