Gaza, January 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,439, while 171,324 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
Medical sources reported on Wednesday that 15 people were killed and taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours, including two new slain ones and 13 whose bodies were recovered. A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
The sources indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 449, and the total number of injuries to 1,246, while 710 bodies have been recovered.
They also noted the death of one citizen and the injury of another as a result of a building collapse, bringing the number of victims of building collapses since the beginning of winter to 25.
