RAMALLAH, January 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces erected military checkpoints west and east of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate on Wednesday.

Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces set up checkpoints near the Al-Mahalhal area in Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, between the villages of Yabrud and Silwad, east of Ramallah, and near the Karamelo Junction and the village of Taybeh, east of Ramallah. They stopped Palestinian vehicles and checked the occupants' identity cards, causing severe traffic congestion.

The same sources added that an Israeli army force raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and patrolled its streets, firing tear gas canisters among residents' homes. No injuries were reported.
