GAZA, January 13, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,424, while 171,324 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

Medical sources reported on Tuesday that five slain people and six wounded others were taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. A number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.

The sources indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 447, and the total number of wounded to 1,246, while 697 bodies have been recovered.

They also noted the death of a one-year-old child due to the extreme cold, bringing the number of child deaths from the cold since the beginning of winter to seven. Additionally, three citizens died as a result of a building collapse, raising the total number of victims of collapses to 24.
