HEBRON, January 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians and handed over the body of the slain Palestinian man Shaker al-Ja’bari to his family in Hebron, in the southern West Bank, on Monday.

Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods in Hebron and detained Mu’tasim Abdul-Jawad al-Junaidi and Omar Jawad Mohammad al-Himouni after raiding and searching their homes and ransacking their contents.

The occupation forces also handed over the body of the slain man Shaker Falah Ahmad al-Ja’bari, 58, to his family, after holding it since Saturday, following his killing from gunshot wounds sustained inside his vehicle in the Khallat Hadour area of ​​Hebron.

His body was transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital. His funeral will be held today after noon prayers.
