HEBRON, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening detained a Palestinian citizen from Masafer Yatta, after holding several residents and firing live ammunition and sound grenades in the area, as colonists released their livestock onto citizens’ lands and near their homes, according to a local activist.

Activist Osama Makhamreh said Israeli forces detained a citizen in Masafer Yatta, after briefly holding several residents and firing live ammunition and sound grenades in the area to disperse residents who attempted to force out colonists that had released their livestock onto citizens’ lands and near their homes.
