Two youths injured in separate attacks by Israeli soldiers and colonists south of Nablus

NABLUS, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Two young Palestinian men were injured on Sunday evening in two separate attacks carried out by Israeli occupation soldiers and colonists south of Nablus.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a 30-year-old man sustained a head injury after being struck by a stone thrown by colonists near the Huwara military checkpoint, and was subsequently transferred to the hospital.

PRCS said another man, aged 39, was also taken to the hospital after being assaulted by Israeli occupation soldiers in the village of Awarta.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 23,827 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property across various governorates of the occupied West Bank over the past year.

The Commission further clarified that 18,384 of these attacks were carried out by Israeli occupation forces, 4,723 by colonists, while both sides carried out 720 attacks.
