HEBRON, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked shepherds in several communities in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Sunday, damaging crops.

Media activist Osama Makhameh said that a number of colonists attacked Issa Hamamdeh while he was herding his livestock near his home in Khirbet al-Taban in Masafer Yatta, attempting to steal some of the animals.

However, residents confronted them.

Makhameh added that the colonists conducted provocative patrols in the Wadi al-Jawaya area of ​​Masafer Yatta, assaulting residents and shepherds.

They also released their livestock near the homes of the Abu Sabha family in Khirbet al-Fakhit, damaging property.

Furthermore, they pursued shepherds in Khirbet Mughayir al-Abeed, Isfi, and the Hawara area, preventing them from accessing their grazing lands.
