GAZA, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) — The Israeli occupation army on Sunday carried out airstrikes and launched artillery and naval shelling on various areas across the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli artillery targeted the eastern areas of the al-Tuffah and al-Zeitoun neighborhoods east of Gaza City, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles.
Israeli warplanes also bombed several areas east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while additional airstrikes targeted areas southwest of the city of Rafah in the south.
In the north, Israeli warplanes carried out air raids and demolitions of buildings east of Jabalia and Beit Lahia, coinciding with artillery shelling.
Meanwhile, Israeli naval boats fired a number of shells toward coastal areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The latest developments constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 10, 2025.
