NEW YORK, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Pro-Palestinian activists organized a protest in the Queens neighborhood of New York City against the convening of the “Israel Real Estate & Investment Conference,” a promotional event focused on real estate and investment opportunities in Israeli-occupied territories.
Demonstrators said the conference promotes land and property investments, including assets located in areas of the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
They argued that such events contribute to marketing real estate projects on land belonging to Palestinians while disregarding the political and humanitarian realities surrounding the Palestinian cause.
According to protest organizers, the demonstration is part of a broader campaign targeting economic conferences and commercial events linked to Israel across the United States.
