QALQILYA, January 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces impeded the movement of Palestinian citizens and traffic on Sunday east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli troops set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Elias, east of the city, where they stopped vehicles and checked passengers' identify cards.
The checkpoint caused significant delays and disrupted citizens' access to their workplaces.
