HEBRON, January 10, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian citizen on Saturday evening during a raid on the village of Susya in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, and seized his vehicle.

Local media activist Osama Makhmareh said the forces stormed the village, raided and searched several homes, and briefly detained a local resident, Ahmad Al-Nawajaa, assaulting him during the incursion. He added that Musa Ali Al-Nawajaa was detained and his vehicle was confiscated.

Makhmareh further reported that Israeli settlers released their livestock near Palestinian homes in the nearby Khirbet Um Al-Khair, while other settlers broke into Khirbet Al-Merkaz and carried out provocative tours in the area.
