BETHLEHEM, January 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian students in al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, suffered from tear gas inhalation, on Monday, during an Israeli military incursion  of the town.

According to local source, that Israeli troops stormed the al-Tall area in the old city of al-Khader and attacked students as they were leaving their schools, firing tear gas and stun grenades, causing suffocation cases among them due to inhaling tear gas.

Soldiers reportedly pursued students and residents through the narrow alleys of the old town and along the main street leading to the Al-Bawaba area.
