Five injured, others missing after residential building collapse in Maghazi refugee camp

GAZA, January 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were injured and others are missing after a residential building collapsed in the Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

According to local sources, five people were injured, some critically, and dozens of residents remain missing after the four-story building collapsed at dawn. The building had previously been damaged by Israeli airstrikes and collapsed completely due to the intense bombardment that Israeli forces have been carrying out daily in the eastern Maghazi area and other eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.
