SALFIT, January 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained several youths on Sunday evening while they were in the Wadi Qana area, near the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit, as they were picking truffles, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the area and detained the youths without providing any justification, noting that the detainees are from towns and villages in the Qalqilya governorate.
