BETHLEHEM, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained an entire family on Saturday evening from the village of Kisan, located east of Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank.

Local sources told WAFA that the Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Odeh Ghazal, 55, his wife Leila Khalil Abu Dayya, 50, their sons Abdelrahman, 20, and Mohammad, 27, and Mohammad's wife Heba Taqatqa, 25, after raiding and searching their home.

Earlier in the day, more than 30 colonists stormed the village, injuring a child with gunfire, raiding a school and several homes, and damaging agricultural crops.
