Woman killed by Israeli army gunfire in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza

GAZA, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman was killed by gunfire from Israeli occupation forces on Saturday in the town of Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza, according to medical sources.

The sources identified the woman as 45-year-old Sunyora al-Shish, who was killed by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahiya.

With her fatal shooting, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli military in Gaza since the morning has risen to three, in addition to two others who were injured by Israeli gunfire during an attack on the rear yard of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.

According to local health authorities, at least 684 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began on October 11, with 1,171 others injured, while 684 bodies have been recovered.
