Colonists injure child with live fire, destroy agricultural crops east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was injured by live bullets fired by Israeli colonists on Saturday morning during an attack on the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews treated a live-fire injury to the pelvis of a 16-year-old child sustained during confrontations with colonists following their attack on the village. The child was transferred to hospital for medical treatment.

The head of the Kisan Village Council, Mousa Obayyat, told WAFA that more than 30 colonists stormed the village, raided a school and several homes, and destroyed agricultural crops using their vehicles.

The village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, has been subjected to repeated colonist attacks as part of a systematic policy targeting Palestinian citizens’ lands and sources of livelihood through the destruction of agricultural crops and raids on homes.
