Tulkarm, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids and detentions across several areas in the occupied West Bank overnight and at dawn on Saturday, detaining several Palestinian youths and storming towns and refugee camps.
Israeli forces detained three youths after raiding and searching their homes in the town of Iktaba, east of Tulkarm, according to local sources.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces also detained a youth from the village of Ras Atiya, south of Qalqilya, after stopping him at a military checkpoint set up at the eastern entrance of Qalqilya city.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, patrolling several neighborhoods and raiding a car wash before withdrawing.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained a youth, 33, from the village of al-Badhan north of Nablus, after raiding and searching his home, according to the director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh.
In addition, Israeli forces stormed al-Ein refugee camp, west of Nablus, at dawn, raiding and searching several homes, temporarily detaining several residents and subjecting them to field interrogation before later releasing them.
