HEBRON, January 2, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth sustained minor injuries on Friday evening during an Israeli forces’ military raid on the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, according to local sources.
Sources said that Israeli forces raided the town center and opened live fire and sound bombs at citizens.
The youth suffered minor injuries and bruises after being chased by Israeli soldiers, and was provided medical treatment by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) crews.
Israeli forces conduct near-daily incursions into cities, towns, villages, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank, targeting defenseless Palestinians. These operations routinely involve the storming and searching of homes, the vandalizing of property, assaults on residents, and widespread detentions. The raids are frequently accompanied by the use of live fire, tear gas canisters, and sound bombs, often resulting in injuries and, in some cases, the killing of Palestinians, in addition to extensive property destruction.
